In 8.5.1 when you create a reservation and bring up the list of available rooms dialog via the Room Search button and select "Ok" without making a room selection it puts the error statement "Error: Incorrect data type for operater or @function : Text expected". With the fix it will say the proper error message "You did not select a room".
